</div>Harrison came to massage therapy through sport: training, getting injured, rehabbing, then coaching athletes through the same cycle. Now he treats everyday bodies the same way — assess what's actually limited, work on that, and send you home knowing what to do next. Focused 45-minute sessions, with short-notice openings most weeks.

Harrison is a Registered Massage Therapist who took the long route to the treatment room — through competitive skiing. Years of training, the injuries that come with it, and then coaching other athletes gave him a working understanding of how bodies are loaded, how they break down, and what it takes to get moving again. That lens stays on whether you race on weekends or the heaviest thing you lift is a laptop bag.
What patients tend to mention first, though, isn't the sport background — it's that he listens. Sessions start with what you say, not with a routine, and the treatment is built collaboratively: for pain, for tension, or simply for an hour where your shoulders finally come down from your ears. His manner is calm and unhurried, which makes it easy to settle on the table.
Harrison keeps his menu deliberately short — focused 45-minute sessions, with a 30-minute option for returning patients — and his schedule usually has room this week, not next month. Live availability is on JaneApp.
No package ladder, no add-on maze. One focused format, a returning version, and a short maintenance visit. Prices are plus GST, and every one produces an insurance-eligible receipt.
Want 60 or 90 minutes of table time? The clinic's other registered therapists offer longer formats — and if that suits your case better, Harrison will be the first to say so.
Ski-season legs, cutting-sport knees, overhead shoulders. He's lived the training-injury-rehab cycle himself — see how this connects to 运动按摩 if your issue tracks your training.
Kitchens, retail floors, trades, hospitals. Long standing shifts build their own pattern — heavy legs, a locked low back, forearms that never quite let go. The 45-minute format fits between shifts.
Screen posture plus stress is the most common thing on his table. Treatment plus two or three specific things to do at your desk — not a lecture about sitting up straight.
每次治疗都会在完全独立、封闭的私人治疗室内进行,而不是仅用帘子隔开的空间。
You talk, he listens — what's bothering you, when it started, what makes it better or worse. Then a brief movement check so the session targets what's actually limited rather than the loudest symptom.
Hands-on work matched to your tissue and your tolerance, with check-ins as he goes. Firm where it's warranted, never something you have to brace against. You stay draped throughout and control what is uncovered.
He repeats the movement check so you can feel the difference, then gives you a couple of specific things to do before next time. If a longer format or a different service would serve you better, he'll say so instead of rebooking you on autopilot.
Lovely clinic. I've recently started going here and love that you can get in quite quickly. My sessions with Harrison have been absolutely excellent, with ample care and skill.— Sheena R, Google review
A lot of East Vancouver works on its feet — kitchens, cafés, shops, sites. Harrison's short-format menu was practically made for that: a proper treatment that fits before an evening shift or on a split, without burning a whole afternoon or a whole benefit budget.

Harrison is a Registered Massage Therapist, so his sessions fall under massage therapy on most BC extended health plans. If your provider is supported, we bill them directly and you pay only the portion your plan doesn't cover — see 直接结算如何运作. Clinic-wide rates for every therapist are on the rates page.

The initial 45-minute visit ($120 + GST). It includes your health history and a movement assessment, which is what the rest of his approach is built on. After that, book returning visits — same price, more of the time on treatment.
For one problem area worked properly — assessed, treated, re-tested — yes, and that focus is the point of the format. If you want full-body work or two separate regions in one visit, a longer session with one of the clinic's other registered therapists is the better booking, and Harrison will tell you so at your first visit if that's your case.
No — most of his table time is desks, shifts and stress, not sport. The athletic background just means he thinks in terms of what your body needs to do, and he's comfortable with training-related cases when they come. If your issue tracks your training load, see how 运动按摩 works here.

Matched to you, and checked as he goes — firm work is available where your case calls for it, but discomfort you have to brace against is feedback he wants, not something to push through. If you specifically want sustained deep pressure as the whole session, compare 深层组织按摩.
When he already knows you and one area needs a top-up between longer sessions — maintenance, not a first assessment. It's $100 + GST and fits a lunch break. First visits always start at 45 minutes so there's time to actually assess.
Usually within the week, sometimes sooner — his schedule tends to have short-notice room, including evenings Monday to Thursday and weekend slots. Live availability is on JaneApp, or call (604) 620-6560 for anything urgent.
