A Registered Clinic on Kingsway — Not a Spa

Loong Wellness is a massage therapy, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in East Vancouver. Everything here is delivered by practitioners registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, in six fully enclosed private treatment rooms. Which means insurance receipts, direct billing, and treatment you can actually claim.

What "under one roof" actually means

Six Rooms, Any Treatment

Most clinics in Vancouver do massage, or acupuncture, or TCM. Here, every room is set up for all of them — so two treatments can happen in one visit, with one commute and one parking spot.

01
Fully enclosed, not curtained Every treatment happens behind a door. That matters more than people expect — for privacy, for noise, and for being able to actually relax.
02
Combine treatments in one visit Massage and acupuncture, or RMT and cupping, without booking two appointments at two places on two days.
03
Several practitioners on site Which is why same-week and often same-day openings are realistic here rather than a two-week wait. See same-day availability.
Why registration matters

Non-registered Chinese massage

Offered as a lower-cost option for general tension and relaxation. It does not produce an insurance receipt, and we say so plainly rather than letting people find out at the desk. See regular massage.

If you intend to claim your treatment, book a registered service. We direct bill most major providers — see how direct billing works, or check current rates before you book.

Your first visit

How We Work

The same structure regardless of which treatment you book. It is not complicated, but it is deliberate.

Intake

What is actually going on

Health history, medication, what makes it worse, and what "better" would look like for you. Not a form you fill in silently in the waiting room — a conversation, because it changes what we do.

Assessment

A short movement check

Overhead reach, rotation, a hinge — whatever is relevant. The point is to find what is actually limited rather than treating only the loudest spot.

Treatment

Your pressure, your pace

We agree on pressure out loud before starting and check in when moving between areas. You stay draped throughout, and you decide what is uncovered. Saying "that's too much" changes it immediately.

Re-test

Something you can feel before you leave

We repeat the movement check so the change is measurable rather than a feeling that fades by the car. Then two or three specific things to do before the next visit — written down.

What we won't tell you

We do not claim that massage detoxifies your body, flushes out lactic acid, boosts your immune system or balances your hormones. Those claims are common in this industry and none of them are why the treatment works.

What hands-on treatment does do is reduce tension in specific tissue and improve how comfortably you move — which is measurable, and enough. Massage therapy and acupuncture support comfort and mobility. Neither is a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Not sure what to book?

Describe what you're dealing with and whether you have coverage. If we are not the right place for it, we will tell you that too.
